A decade ago a friend and I recognized Eric Montross during a visit to Chapel Hill. He kindly posed for pictures and shared a few words. We never watched him live but played the 1993 title on DVD during the car ride up. He made our day. RIP to a UNC legend & genuine good guy.

Not-so-shocking ACC student body factoids. UNC and NC State rank Top 3 with highest percentage of in-state kids (80+ %). Duke and ND rank dead-last. Duke's campus is just 11.6% in-state (!) and has nearly twice as many NY, NJ, CT kids than North Carolinians.

#UNC is still in the mix for 2024 five-stars Jarin Stevenson (PF) and Boogie Fland (CG), though it is TBD how Ian Jackson’s commitment could affect their recruitment. Hubert Davis isn’t done yet.
