My cabinet and I caught up today on Washington Co. Capital for a Day. Flood recovery, workforce, housing & economic stability were top issues. This will guide our work for the coming session but we need more balance in the legislature to make sure Vermonters' needs are put first.

We are preparing for more rain as Debby moves north, and will continue coordinating with towns as they clear storm drains, drainage basins, ditches and culverts to reduce risk. Now is the time to prepare.
