Gophers drop a heartbreaker to LCC 6-3. Zach Skinner had 2 hits, Landen Southern and Kaleb Horn each singled. Breckon Riley hit a 2 run triple and scored on a passed ball for the Gophers only runs. Gophers finish the season 18-9. So incredibly proud of these guys!

I'd like to brag on our boys academic achievements as well. We have 5 boys meet academic honors diploma criteria, 3 in National Honor Society, class valedictorian and they won several scholarships on senior night. They are well rounded both academically and athletically.

The Gophers start HHC action with a 12-0 win over Sheridan. Southern threw a perfect game striking out 10. Southern and Skinner both tripled, Southern, Riley and K. Perkins all doubled. Erickson with 2 RBI and Southern with 3. Southern also strikes out his 100 batter as a Gopher

Got some great baseball news today. Zach Skinner was selected as an All-Region player for the Midwest Region. Meaning he is a Baseball Factory top 30 player in the Midwest. Congrats Zach!

Thank you to Gary Ostler for paying for our breakfast at the Vesta Lodge pancake breakfast. We ate and then got to do some community service. I was told these are the most polite boys they have ever had come to the breakfast. Parents, ypu are raising them right.
