@dms3tv Definitely enough that it's an important part of getting your system sounding how you want. Not enough that you should try to fix a bad headphone by changing your amp. Headphone swaps/upgrades are much more important but amps still make an impact.

Did some testing on @TIDAL 's 'MAX' update today. They are indeed playing hires lossless for many tracks, and bitperfect vs the qobuz version. BUT, many tracks which show as 'MAX' are still just MQA batch processed from the 44.1khz original, with no way to play lossless at all.
