My heart breaks for the family of 12yo Kyrin Carter. His body was found in the Little Calumet River last night. The autistic boy went missing after he walked out of a Hammond, IN Best Western where his family was staying May 15th. Live report coming up on @WGNMorningNews 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I’m tired of covering shootings every morning. Today, I’m outside another hospital. A 16yo starts a shootout where he and a 49yo lose their lives. The 49yo is caught in the crossfire. The other shooters get away. How is this the norm? Why is this the norm?

A Naperville home is completely leveled to the ground. The damage was done to over 100 homes. 5 people were taken to the hospital with one that is in critical condition. Amazingly, no deaths to report. @WGNMorningNews

If you listened to the full report, you would have heard me say that's a staging area for those displaced. The Red Cross may not want it but the people may be in need since homes have been leveled to the ground. Have some class and stop trying throw jabs when people are in need.
