A @GlendaleAZPD officer pulled this pup to safety after he fell into the canal. Glendale firefighters were able to calm the dog and get a rope around him to lead him to their nearby fire station. Once there he was given food, water & some TLC. GPD transported him to HART.

Glendale Fire & Phoenix Police worked together yesterday to help this lost woman with dementia find her way home. After some team work we were able to get her home safely. Job well done. Stay safe. @phoenixpolice

Feel Good Friday....Captain Jocelyn Galligan helped a woman as she struggled with the self checkout at a local grocery store. When you see us shopping for food it is because we are getting food for our 24 hour shift. We shop and then split the cost amongst the crew.

The words “We will never forget” rings loudest today. We honor those who paid the ultimate price by participating in stair climbs, and we teach the future about what it means to pay tribute to those who paved the way for our careers and our freedom. Thank a first responder today.

A tearful goodbye for Engineer Gary Stanzak. He retires today after 31.5 (don’t forget the half) years. COVID restricts everything we do these days but it will never stop our department from making sure he feels the love on his last day. Congratulations!

No matter what color your truck is on the outside. They all look the same on the inside. Stay safe.

Our hearts are with the Phoenix Fire Department today as they mourn the loss of Firefighter Dave Mathis. Dave has been battling occupational cancer since 2007. Thankfully he was covered. Sadly there are still firefighters fighting for coverage over 10 years later. RIP Dave.

It is heartbreaking to report another life has been lost in the fire service. Buckeye Valley has lost Engineer Brian Miller after a battle with COVID. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the Buckeye Valley Fire Department.
