I live very close to Monaco, there is so much security in the principality that no one hides what they can flash, especially the oligarchs. All is calm so far though, Iโll report back if anything changes. ๐

The pass is working extremely well here. Locals and visitors seem to have no issue with it except for the anti vaxx protestors whoโs numbers continue to decline drastically.
I live here. This is practically my view.
I just overheard a tourist complain on her mobile to someone that she had to walk two blocks up a hill from a shop here in the village today and that she didn't come to Europe to walk.
Guess where she was from? ;)

As a Canadian living in France, most of my American clients tend to ask me what to do to make sure they don't come off as an "Ugly American". This would be a good example.
Most people are fine and up for the adventure. There are some that find walking...worrying.

7 - told by numerous people I look like I want to be a girl and boys canโt marry boys.
This was at a public gathering with locals. We lived on a farm in the middle of Canada with no TV or outside influences.
Comments like this in my life are motivators to stay true to myself.

Fines are given out for not wearing a mask now in most parts of France. Maybe one third of tourists wearing masks and word is out in many languages. Shameful.

Sorry to hear about this horrible situation. I had something similar happen in Vancouver and the person continued his tactics when I moved to France. Police and lawyers helped but the only thing that stopped him was when I published a book about the 6 years of it all. Take care.
Attended the first LGBTQ Riviera meet-up since Covid last night in Monaco.
It was a wonderful event, with friendly people from diverse nationalities and business backgrounds.
Can't wait until the next one this February in Nice.
