If we're keeping it real, this should read: "White VCs fail to invest to Black founders" Venture Capital as a whole has yet to embrace Black founders, and the "record highs" recently achieved are still deplorable relative to the total market size.

Black women are more likely to reinvest in their communities. When they win, the people win. But the people are never to have too much power. Equity is a threat, and entrepreneurial redlining is a modern form of economic segregation. There are no oppressors, only weak men.

@NaithanJones And for this reason, investors should stop undervaluing "lifestyle" businesses. The "backbone of our economy" cliché is true, and I'm sure many founders shift to focusing on venture scale because that's what investors tell them is valuable.
