My oldest was a micropreemie & was unable to eat like regular kids to the point that his brain didn’t even process hunger cues. From 2 to 5 yo he was on a feeding tube. He just told me “daddy I’m hungry for lunch” and even at 8 yo it’s enough to make me tear up w/ joy
