This was a border I designed for the garden, I usually change things around each year but I think I am going to stick with this combination, feels quite tranquil I think ?

So, spray for plastic grass that makes it smell like actual grass ? Can someone tell me what is going on with the world please 😂 plastic Butterflies to stick on your plants ? Recorded bee sounds for your garden?
This is the railway line that runs through part of our farm, it closed in the early 1950s, I walk my dogs here most days and am always in awe of how nature will always prevail. This place is a haven for wildlife and I often see our resident Royal Stag here. I am blessed 😊
There's something serene about spending time in my garden. It's a chance to unplug from technology and be fully present in the natural world. Gardening for me is a form of meditation with only the task at hand occupying my otherwise spaghetti of a brain. Happy gardening weekend
It doesn’t matter where I go, I always come home with something I want to do in my garden and this time it’s a grapevine arch just like this one at Marquees de Riscal in Rioja ! My lovely husband just roles his eyes… anyone else 😂?

A Cottage gardening style is something I find myself most drawn to, I love the casual approach to mixing all your favourites in a slightly haphazard way. Maybe it’s a bit like my life 😂 Happy Gardening Sunday everyone.
It’s snowing here 😳so I have come inside to find seek Inspiration for the garden, garden design is so contagious and this garden has really made me think about my next project, I absolutely love the feel of it.

Rambling roses are so fleeting but I think that’s what makes me really love them. They look so inviting when they hug an archway or a door frame.
You just want to stand beneath them and take in their loveliness.

This oak tree was uprooted on our farm, we had an expert date it at over 200 years old, I was very sad to see it go, but here is what we have done with it. We will eat Christmas dinner on it as a family for many years to come

Big tidy up in the greenhouse, tomatoes, cucumbers all harvested and all my cuttings repotted for next year, all the winter salads sown in trays for all year round salad bowl.
I still love this garden and really must visit this year. Gardening is a pure delight don’t you think planting, nurturing, and harvesting fresh vegetables is a wonderful experience.

Last year's garden was a true labor of love. The sights and smells of blooming flowers, buzzing bees, and ripe veggies will always be cherished memories. Grateful for the peace and connection with nature that gardening brings.

I can report that using copper tape on your hosta pots does not work! Every one of mine has been munched, any more ideas? Someone recommended garlic spray, any feedback on that one ?
This is a veg patch I have been creating, it was just grass and weeds. I have been applying a no dig technique for 3 years now, starting with cardboard and a layer of compost then repeating over and over, this is the result. Lovely soil, lots of worms. Can’t wait to get planting
Not long to wait now, all my daffodils are poking through and it feels like my gardening year is about to begin. This is Backhouse Rossie in Scotland s daffodil display for some inspiration

This ancient yew on the Runnymede National Trust estate in Berkshire witnessed the sealing of the Magna Carta in 1215, making it the last living witness to a moment that changed the course of our world’s history forever.
Almost ready for my open day a whole family affair, kids weeding, grandparents planting and my lovely friend baking 200 scones, on a serious note we hope to see lots of people and raise lots of money for cancer charities, we never know when someone we love might need help.
Just taken delivery of our new garden bench, I am absolutely delighted with it, made using traditional methods by a craftsman who also happens to be a farmer, supporting uk small business is so important in these times, farming being particularly important to our family ❤️
What has happened to my white rose ? These are Winchester cathedral from
@DAustinRoses
I have quite a lot of them and have noticed on several shrubs the flowers are like this, just started this year.
Crowhurst yew is 4,000 years old, it's famous for the wooden door that was built into the tree in 1824. The bole of the tree was hollowed out and a cannonball was found,It's believed to have embedded in the tree after being fired by a cannon during the English Civil War in 1642
This was our wild flower project a couple of years ago, in 4 weeks time we will be again sowing field margins here on the farm, my little helpers will obviously be taking part and hopefully in years to come they will remember why we did it and see the benefits of their good work.
Our wild flowers are beginning to look rather nice, I wish you could hear all the bees buzzing through then, it’s truly lovely. We planted 50 acres of wild flowers this year and I can’t wait to have the bird survey done later in the year to see the results.
It’s a small thing but with massive joy attached ! It’s my first hand thrown mug, I started a pottery course this year and after many wonky creations I have finally made something I can use. watch out friend’s Christmas is coming, start rehearsing your ‘oh lovely’ looks 😂
This has been the best year so far for my White Hydrangeas. They are such a brilliant shrub and so easy to propagate new plants, I may be a little obsessed 😂
My Hydrangeas are still looking really joyous even in November. I am busy drying some of the heads for the Christmas Wreath workshop in a few weeks time.
