In 1996, Sega announced The Sacred Pools, an adults-only FMV game for the Saturn, PC, and, bizarrely enough, Sony PlayStation. With a budget of roughly three million dollars, the game was fully filmed but never saw the light of day.

Famitsu 1994 is now halfway scanned, hopefully have it finished up in the next month and I can get it released. In the meantime here's some cool Live A Live ads with great artwork from them.
A fully completed adult game called "Force of Sex" was found on a random Super Famicom copy of RPG Maker Super Dante. Check out the write up here and download it.

Cannot understate how much good Near did in all sorts of various aspects of improving emulation across the board and the impact of all of their hard work. Just a massive loss for the world. I didn't have much interaction with Near but the few times I did they were always pleasant
After years of working on this we now have ROM dumps of every Epoch Cassette Vision game thanks to Sean Riddle and Tetsuji Oguchi who managed to figure out a way to preserve these. Now maybe emulation or a FPGA core could be created for the system.

All five volumes of Club2HD Positive have been scanned and uploaded. This was a Japanese zine that ran for a few years in the mid to late 90s covering early game emulation, copiers, piracy, and all sorts of interesting stuff.
Absolutely incredible some people are taking this to mean Frank is anti-emulation? Like do you not realize who he is and what he's all about and he is making a solid point? I need a beer after reading some of the QT takes good lord.
If your response to this is "just emulate them," then I need you to consider what your priorities are.
I want the next generation to have easy access to the past. Ask any parent right now if their kid knows how to install desktop executables, or knows what a "torrent" is.

Scary stuff, piracy always has been but will especially be an important part of things being around for future generations with stuff like this continuing to happen with digital only media. Don't forget nowadays you don't own anything. You're just renting it!

Got some VERY rare and undumped/scanned Phillips CD-i software in the mail today to preserve from a hardcore collector for the system along with a nice thank you note. Feel honored to be entrusted with this stuff!
Maybe a long shot but thought I'd put it out there. If anybody has any PC Engine Fan Magazines they'd let us borrow for scanning please let me know. They are SO expensive now it's becoming very difficult to acquire them. They are stapled so can return them in original condition.

just made me aware of this. Gamebookscanner has done a full run of Saturn Fan as well as some other stuff. Saturn Fan CBZs are in 400DPI it looks like and nice quality! Glad to not have to have to worry about scanning these!
