12 years in glasgow and it only took until 3 months before I leave for someone to actually brandish a weapon and threaten to stab me. You guessed it, a car driver because they nearly killed me at a junction and I called them out on it 🙃 I am tired of nearly dying on the roads.

It’s not everyday you can say you fulfilled a lifelong dream. After saving up 12 years for it, today I passed my flight test and earned my Private Pilots License. I 100% cried when I was told I passed. A huge thanks to my instructor Kwan, my examiner Laurie and everyone at MFC.

Writing my PhD extension application has almost brought me to tears acknowledging how little I have done, how heavily I've been impacted and how shit my PhD is. I haven't even been able to begin to think about any data analysis because I'm too busy doing tiny tasks myself, alone.

It breaks my heart to keep seeing my mum back in hospital. It breaks my heart to see my dad struggle to care for her and himself. All care in Scotland is for profit and yet the people doing the caring are so woefully underpaid and overworked that they too struggle. It's criminal.
