Thanks for following!
Team Fortress Future is a huge illustrated concept for a sequel to Team Fortress 2, developed by
@kanethecarter
.
The concept involves an overhaul to TF2's game balance, over 100 new weapon ideas, and perhaps most importantly... 3 brand new classes!

Boom! I'm back, dummy.
Here is Scout's updated look in Team Fortress Future. Not much has changed in 50+ years... aside from the headshot from an angry ex-girlfriend, I suppose.
You can expect lots more TFF content this year!

Hudda hudda huh!
Pyro won the vote, so here is his TFF design! It's very similar to the original (which was basically perfect), but the ideas for his gameplay are quite different. You'll learn about that, and the new weapon he's holding, eventually!

Over the moon at the response to the new Scout design for TFF. Thank you so much for 2,000 followers.
I will not be posting too much yet, but as a treat I wanted to share the design process and inspiration for Scout, as well as RED/BLU-only versions.

Massive thanks to pastabaguette for their amazing illustration work on Team Fortress Future. They have been very patient capturing my vision for this project... Extremely glad that I found them.
Hope you like the design!
TFF is not playable. It's a set of written content and art made by talented creators in the TF2 community who I have directed and commissioned.
TF2 is my favourite game, possibly ever, and TFF is my attempt to express my (many) ideas for it in an entertaining format.

Lastly, I would love to collaborate with some other TF2 creators in an eventual video showcasing TFF.
If you are a prominent TF2 YouTuber who would like to know more about this, please email me at milesburnt

.com.
Thank you everyone for your support and patience!

I have recently decided to dedicate a lot more money to TFF, commissioning more incredible artists for it, because I'm confident this could make a huge impact on the community when it's revealed.
You can support me and get some previews of TFF here:

Milestone reached: every weapon for TFF has been conceptualised, designed, coloured... totally finished.
TFF's concept includes 45 unchanged/tweaked weapons from TF2 and 113 completely new ideas with original designs and stats.
Shoutout to Hotkoin for his amazing illustrations.
@SPRINGLOCK217
This is an actual sequel concept, written to work as a successor to everything in the games/comics.
It really is the same Scout! Along with the other 8 mercs. And 3 new ones... And there is indeed an explanation for why he isn't super old! It's nothing crazy, but you gotta wait!
As previously stated, Team Fortress Future is a massive illustrated concept for a sequel to TF2 and is not as playable experience.
Every weapon will be presented as 2D artwork alongside a name and stats, and sometimes a demonstration image. Excited to show some or all this year.
Another big thanks to pastabaguette for their character illustrations on Team Fortress Future. I'm a big fan of this one.
Hope you guys like the design. I will probably share some BTS content tomorrow, if you do! Who do you want to see next?
As always, character artwork done by the amazing pastabaguette (who is also chuffed at the positive reception here, and on Reddit/Game Jolt)!
Until next time, chuckleheads!

No, Team Fortress Future is just a giant illustrated concept / thought experiment. Not a mod, not a game. Just like, over a hundred drawings...
@onetufcreampuff
All of them return! And three new ones.
Age isn't a concern. The mercenaries are only a few years older, despite the time jump. Of course that is explained but I won't go over it yet haha
@Stars_Galaxy18
Naaaah. TFF is a conceptual video project. A giant thought experiment with over a hundred illustrations.
If it ever becomes more than that, then I can definitely consider reaching out to VAs. But not right now. Appreciate the interest though!!
@ZoomyTheNoob
When TFF is fully published, I would be happy to work alongside an experienced mod creator/team to make it as much a reality as possible.
In the meantime, anyone can use concepts from TFF as long as I am credited. That includes direct credit if anything goes up on the Workshop.
@AsiGarSan
A bit of both. It is set in the future even contextually to us in the real world. But it's a "disappointing" future with few differences from base TF2. So, while some mercs get upgrades, others stick with what they are used to!
Stylistically, it's more Engie and Spy tech stuff.

@kanethecarter
Team Fortress Future is not a game. It is an illustrated concept, presented through a series of videos. It's not in the early stages - I would say it's about 80% done content-wise. But putting the videos together may take a while.
@bumble_bbgun
TFF has a story/setting that follows the game and the latest TF2 comic. It's a literal sequel to TF2 with the same characters, continuity, etc.
@isaac_artola
@kanethecarter
No... There are no models. This isn't an SFM project.
It's a collection of videos going over 9 class redesigns, 3 completely new classes, over 100 weapon concepts, 30 cosmetics, 3 Meet The storyboards, and more.
Look up "Minecraft Ghosts & Graves". It's similar to that.
@M8cko1
Scout has never been bad with girls; He's been bad with classy girls!
Though, who knows what kind of woman decided to shoot him in the head. Lol
