Just a reminder that both Dean Wilson and Justin Barcia, riders who have won and podiumed in recent years, were dropped from factory teams with no support several years ago (2017). If there were no privateers allowed, their careers would’ve likely been cut in half as a result.

I normally cringe at people saying “our sport has gone soft” but the fact that the whoops have been changed to suit the futures riders. If you’re not ready, stay home. The track should not be changed to suit kids who aren’t ready, it’s a pro track, have the skills or go home.

Hymas has been the fastest guy on track nearly every lap this moto, and every time Deegan has come close to matching him, Hymas dropped an even lower lap time. He’s the real deal, Honda has yet another top rider on their hands at this rate. Steadily making me a big fan of his.
