Hello new followers! Thanks for all the support so far!
As said, I'll be posting one DDLC Fun Fact per week, every week!
There's a lot of useless but interesting knowledge I have to show, from visual oddities to how the game's code works.
I hope you all enjoy this account! <3
You might have come across fan artists that draw Sayori with a single side-ponytail.
This is because she actually DOES have it in most official artwork, although hard to notice! [1/2]

You've probably seen this sprite for Monika already, but did you know that it only shows up once in the entire game?
It's only used for the Mon-ika joke scene, and then it never shows up again! Not even in the Side Stories!
#ddlc
Right before the credits, there's a few glitched images in the background that scroll by during Monika's talk.
These images are just distorted versions of official artwork made by @\JisuArtist, which features Monika handing over the lyrics to Your Reality!
#ddlc
The glitch effect in these two scenes seem to have been made using "Snorpey's Image Glitch Tool".
Here's a short thread on how to make your own glitch sprites just like these!

All of Monika's expression sprites feature a single brush dot (similar to a stray pixel) a few pixels away from her head.
This was fixed in DDLC Plus. [1/2]

In the credits, every CG has a greyed out variant that gets displayed if you haven't seen it.
Yuri's Reading and Chocolate CGs are the only ones that you will see no matter what, due to Act 2 forcing them.
This means their greyed out variants go unused! [1/2]

Whether it counts as a ponytail or not is up for interpretation, but this detail was acknowledged by Satchely in a Reddit AMA back in 2019.
It's there because of her bow! [2/2]
I forgot to mention!
That third Yuri sprite (the angry yandere sprite) is unused in both DDLC and DDLC+!
I'll be going over the unused sprites eventually, there's definitely some interesting things to talk about!
Thank you everyone for 1.2k followers!! I'm so happy to see this account growing!
I don't have anything planned for things like these, so I'll just continue posting facts as I usually do. Just know that I appreciate every single one of you!
Here's to many more fun facts! <3
It was revealed in the DDLC Plus Gallery section that the CG was originally meant to face the other direction, meaning the bow being on the wrong side was simply due to the image being mirrored!
Here's an example of how the un-mirrored CG could have looked!
[3/3]
And the script for Natsuki's route not only makes no mention of this Ghost Chair, but it also states that the chairs are attached to the desk!
Spooky, huh? [3/3]
Yes, Monika's Act 3 CG can be greyed out in the credits too.
For this you have to delete her file as soon as you enter Act 3, before the "Yay, there you are!" dialogue plays.
This also locks you out of the Secret Ending with Dan's letter, so take that in mind! [2/2]
Almost every artwork featuring Sayori has her consistently wearing her bow on the left side of her head.
This applies regardless of camera angle.

When positioned correctly, the uncolored spots match perfectly with the parts of the eyebrows that make contact with the hair!
They most likely took these eyebrows and moved them down for the Grinning Expression, but forgot to color them after doing so. [3/4]
To find out why let's compare this sprite (z.png) with another expression sprite with similar eyebrows (j.png)
As you may notice, they actually are the exact same eyebrows, just lowered! [2/4]
By looking up the aforementioned tool, you'll find a Github Page where you can try it out!
Insert an image, play with the sliders (or just press the Randomize button), and once you're done press Save in Browser>Download Image! [2/3]

When I first started posting facts I started on a Tuesday, and I've been sticking to posting on that day ever since.
Thaat saaid, I'm up to changing it to a more convenient day if you guys want! Like a Saturday or a Sunday!
