@wabbitwarrior I was one of those Newfoundlanders who opened her door to two families after the airspace was closed. No one hesitated. As of late, I hardly recognize my Country. I've been on the road for 8 weeks. It's less friendly. Even between Canadians. Trust has been eroded, sadly.

Update on my new accommodation. A dude with a tent, a cat and a girlfriend was staying at the site across from the one I booked. Before I shut off my van, he was calling out to me. I moved sights and he found me. Long story short, I left the camp ground and had to rent a hotel.

Although I had a bad experience with a unruly guest at the Sun Beach, I had many great experiences. Met many great people. One lovely retired couple took me fishing and loaded me up with fresh trout and also some Elk! Truly grateful for the good souls I've met.

Welp, this old chick still has value. Met up with a young Australian lady while in Alberta who was travelling in a van for work. She messaged me and asked if I was in her area in BC yet. She needed the oil and filter changed in her van and she had no one to help. 1/2
