Marvin Lewis (Class of 1976) was a 2 year starter at quarterback and defensive back for the Rangers. Lewis went on to play ball at Idaho State and eventually became a head coach for the Cincinnati Bengals!

Marty Schottenheimer (Class of 1960) catches a touchdown pass against West Allegheny! Schottenheimer went on to play in the NFL as a Bill and Patriot. Later, he became head coach for the Browns, Chiefs, Redskins, and Chargers!

Congratulation to all time Ranger great Perry Ivery for being inducted into the Washington/Green County Hall of Fame! Perry was a first team all state selection, 2002 Post Gazette Single A Player of the Year, and Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year.
We would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Brandon Chiera. Brandon blocked for WPIAL leading rusher Mike Vernillo and was the glue on a tough Rangers defense. You will be missed Brandon!

Tanner Garry (Class of 2012) scrambles and launches a bomb for a touchdown! Garry finished his career at the Fort as the school’s number 1 passer, and eventually set even more records at the collegiate level!

Mike Vernillo entered week 6 needing 92 yards to break Matt Gavrish’s WPIAL rushing record. Vernillo broke it in the FIRST QUARTER against Cornell and ended the night with 204 yards. One of the very best nights in Fort Cherry history!
