Warhammer+ is up for renewal, I’m pretty amazed at myself that I’m considering not resubscribing. Nothing new in the vault for 10 months. Last 2000 point 40k batrep over 4months ago Last hammer and Bolter 13 months. One animation in 2024, Broken lance, over 5 months ago.

@alt_world If you’ll indulge me, my issue is summed up by Tolkien in his essay “on fairy stories” I’ve spent years of my life in the world of 40K. There are rules that were true in the 60+ novels, codex’s & articles. The story teller has failed, the illusion is broken. This is a huge pity

My biggest problem with #SpaceMarine2 is that progression is primarily about character cosmetics. You can spend 5-10 minutes chilling and making your guy look fantastic only to queue and get out onto the chaos side. Either let us queue as imperium or give chaos unlockables too.

I think I’m going to pull the trigger on “Project firstborn Battlecompany”. 100 marines, 2000 points. It can be done! The question is, what company to make them? Not the 1st or 2nd, nor 6th-10th. This leaves 3rd, 4th & 5th & Red, green or black trim. I’m leaning towards 3rd.

Marines 31-40 Tactical squad #3 Naming the Squad & banner has been fun. In book 3 Ventris is expelled from the chapter & ventures to Medrenguard, but there’s a graphic novel that follows the 4th company during that time where they man the walls of Herapolis VS Orks, that’ll do!

Turns out that the Callidus assassin is really good in tournaments, it also turns out that Games workshop is allergic to money so won’t make sure they’re stocked. One raid of the vaults later & I’ve dragged my old one into the light. It’s still tournament legal right?
