💡 Cape Town's marked-up electricity prices make Eskom look very cheap.  The DA-led municipality pays Eskom R1.74, but charges hard-pressed consumers R3.09.  That's a R1.35 profit per unit. No need for this extortion by a municipality with Billions in the bank.

We welcome the Bill passed in the NCOP as a start of a process which will now recognise the Khoi and San people in our Constitution. Since the settlers wiped away the identity of the Khoi and San over 300 years ago, this Bill will achieve restorative justice.
