Each new GPCR structure brings its own surprise - this one has taken a long time to solve - not easy so congratulations to Jing Yu, Ray and the teams involved. Note direct ion channel Kir7.1 coupling independent of G proteins.

This is one of the most interesting GPCR structures I can think of - demonstrating how GPR120 can recognize and then respond differently to unsaturated bonds in fatty acid ligands. Amazing!

A new paper from the Novartis-Berkeley Translational Chemical Biology Institute uses covalent chemoproteomics to identify potential path to recruit E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzymes for use in PROTACs for targeted protein degradation. Congrats to the team!
