These kids in NC are very lucky to have the platforms that they do. Kids in the 252 lucky to have guys like Bruton and Rod bring events to their area. Guys like Clark, Jay, WJG, Marshall etc. Stop and thank guys like that and ask for feedback is the best advice I can give.

Just about 1/3 of the way through the season. Leading the NAC in PPG with 24, top 3 in assists, top 2 in steals, and top 10 in rebounds. HSOT and other outlets didn’t even mention him in the conference previews. First team all conference as a junior last year so it’s bizarre.

Not playing varsity as a sophomore may be disappointing but for borderline kids it’s a blessing. Go out on that JV court and make people ask why you aren’t on varsity. It is much better for your development than clapping thru 24 varsity games with scant minutes.still have 2 yrs

Hats off to my guy T Brill on a great run at Heritage. In less than a 10 year span he churned out several HM d1 kids as well as many others that played next level. Great run to a 4A ship game and a bunch of conference chips. He put up with me which was the greatest accomplishment

Winston Salem Christian, Combine, Word of God all within one bucket of each other. A lot of talent on all three and any game between them could go any way. Says a lot about the amount of talent in NC.

Imma state the obvious here. Kids/coaches use NFHS to send full game film and/or clips to college coaches. I can’t think of a really good reason why anybody would take that resource away. “Scouting your team?” Cmon now. Let the kids, home and away teams, have access. ✌🏽

“If you can play they will find you” is one of the biggest lies ever told in grassroots basketball. If you have low/no advocacy it is far fetched that anyone will have a clue about you or what your are doing. My opinion.

My 🐶 had 9 tackles in a 3OT win and the deflection to prevent a 4th OT in a win over Knightdale that ended near 11pm then went out next afternoon and dropped 23 points in #HoopStateLeague . The 🏈 not hurting progress. It’s helping, and he having the time of his life 🤷🏽‍♂️
