launched the Find Out PAC devoted to reproductive freedom in Texas and holding Texas Supreme Court Justices Jimmy, John, & Jane accountable for their actions by voting them out in Nov 2024.
The court’s decision to tell a pregnant mother of two she wasn't close enough to death or infertility to qualify for a medical exception--shows how dangerous these extremist judges are. How close is close enough?

This is video I put together from a 2 hour meeting held in Granbury. If you want to know where the “ pro-life” movement is headed, watch this. Warning, it is disturbing. Many of our elected officials were in attendance. Including school board, constables and at least one county
WOW. A New PAC from Texas just dropped their launch video targeting the Texas Supreme Court Justices who denied abortion access who are up for re-election this November.
“They Fucked around, now they’re gonna find out!” 👏🏻 👇🏼
Fun fact about TX Supreme Court Justice Jane Bland:
She authored the opinion in a case where the TX Supreme Court ruled that anti-abortion groups could not be held liable for defamation for equating abortion to murder.
November is coming.
Today,
@GinaOrtizJones
launched the Find Out PAC devoted to reproductive freedom in Texas and holding Texas Supreme Court Justices Jimmy, John, & Jane accountable for their actions by voting them out in Nov 2024.
And, their enablers, like the GOP Texas Supreme Court, are also about to FIND OUT this November—specifically, Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland.
Maybe my favorite line from President Biden's excellent State of the Union last night:
"Those bragging about overturning Roe v. Wade have no clue about the power of women in America."
They'll learn. We'll teach them.
The Texas Supreme Court has allowed for the most extreme interpretations of the state’s abortion bans.
They’re culpable for the confusion, fear, and humiliation that has resulted.
To be a woman in Texas:
She was falsely charged with murder over a self-induced abortion. Hospital staff violated her privacy rights and reported her to local prosecutors who wrongfully prosecuted her. She’s suing for $1M in damages.
Replace Alabama with Texas, and that’s why we’re going after TX Supreme Court Justices Jimmy, John, and Jane this November.
We know exactly what they would do, which is why we know what we have to do. VOTE THEM OUT.
"Yesterday in Alabama, a state university health system paused all IVF treatments. Not because they wanted to... But because they are afraid of getting prosecuted for it."
@jrpsaki
on the Alabama Supreme Court ruling that frozen embryos are children.
Hoping the Texas Supreme Court doesn't rule like the Alabama Supreme Court did is NOT a strategy.
Voting out Justices Jimmy, John, and Jane in November is.
What will happen to IVF in Texas after historic Alabama ruling that frozen embryos are 'children'?
How pissed do you think Jimmy, John, and Jane are that the AL Supreme Court beat them to the punch?
Asking for millions of Texas voters ready to VOTE THEM OUT this November.
.
@DesiLydic
: Tens of thousands of women have children using IVF every year. And since it's not possible to do that without creating some excess embryos, Alabama’s GOP Supreme Court has now ruled that starting a family is basically murder. You know, pro-life
Q: Do you see standard IVF practices as murder?
Mike Johnson: It’s something that we've got to grapple with. It’s a brave new world. IVF’s only been invented in the early 1970s
The GOP Texas Supreme Court sided with AG Paxton to stop Kate Cox from receiving a medically-necessary abortion.
Now, after two lower courts denied him, Paxton has appealed to SCOTX to deny 1900 families $500/month.
We need a SCOTX that isn’t a shill for AG Paxton.
The Supreme Court of Texas has temporarily blocked Harris County's new guaranteed income program, Uplift Harris, after two lower courts denied Attorney General Ken Paxton's requests to stop the payments.
Anyone surprised? A state and Texas Supreme Court that has shown you that they’re fine letting you die can’t be trusted.
We know exactly how Jimmy, John, and Jane would rule in this case.
A woman who is suing Texas after she said she nearly died when doctors delayed giving her a medically necessary abortion tells NBC News she plans to move her frozen embryos out of the state for fear Texas could stop providing in vitro fertilization.
The Texas Supreme Court has shown that exceptions can be meaningless if they want them to be.
Today's reminder that the GOP cannot be trusted with exceptions, IVF, or birth control.
Donald Trump: “They will kill the baby in eight months, nine months. Under Roe v. Wade, they had the right to kill the baby after birth. I mean, literally, after birth in some cases.”
While noting in their opinion that “a pregnant woman does not need a court order to have a life-saving abortion in Texas,” Jimmy, John, and Jane determined that the mother did not qualify for a medical exception under the state’s near-total abortion ban...
One might say the GOP Texas Supreme Court f*cked around, and now they’re about to find out.
Can you chip in to help us unseat Justices Jimmy, John, and Jane?
John Devine gonna John Devine.
MAGA TX Supreme Court Justice Devine is an election denier and reminding us how he will rule in election-related cases if they come before the court. Just one reason why the
@HoustonChron
Editorial Board believed the state should sanction him.
Justice Devine is an embarrassment to the TX Sup Ct. He is supposed to promote public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary. He blasts his colleagues on the Court as “brainwashed”. He blasts the judges on the Court of Criminal Appeals as RINOs. He misses
This is why we don’t trust
@GregAbbott_TX
to protect IVF, and we certainly don’t trust Texas Supreme Court Justices Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland to do so either.
It's pretty simple. If life begins at conception, IVF is off the table. If you make an exception for IVF then we're just having a conversation about who you're willing to make exceptions for.
Hmm…the trigger ban went into effect in TX once the justices you appointed allowed Roe to be overturned.
Now, TX has one exception allowing for abortion—the medical exception—which Jimmy, John, and Jane just showed they’re willing to negate.
Your SCOTUS picks were trash.
Everyone should read the court's 7-page opinion where they denied a pregnant mother lifesaving and fertility-saving healthcare because the court thought they knew better than HER DOCTOR. It's political bullsh*t.
💯Abortion is on the ballot in TX this November.
It’s an accountability measure, and it’s our ballot initiative.
We’ll be thinking about Kate Cox, Lauren Miller, Amanda Zurawski and others when we vote out TX Supreme Court Justices Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland.
Abortion is the Achilles heel for Republicans. Ever since Roe overturned, we’ve seen Democrats over perform and Republicans under perform. All these polls everyone obsesses over are total nonsense. Look at the actual election results and you’ll see why the GOP is in BIG trouble.
Another post-Roe win.
A Democrat just won the special election for Alabama House District 10 by 25 pts. She ran to protect contraception, restore IVF access & repeal the state’s no-exceptions abortion ban.
Don’t tell me we can’t flip three Texas Supreme Court seats.
While noting in their opinion that “a pregnant woman does not need a court order to have a life-saving abortion in Texas,” Jimmy, John, and Jane determined that the mother did not qualify for a medical exception under the state’s near-total abortion ban...
Texas Supreme Court Place 4 doesn’t have to be filled by John Devine, the guy who campaigned on his wife’s high-risk pregnancy.
And,
@cvweems
hasn’t *checks notes* campaigned on being arrested dozens of times for protesting in front of abortion clinics.
MAGA John Devine sits on the Texas Supreme Court.
He won his March primary by ~16K votes, because he's a walking ethics violation.
We can't trust him to protect IVF & birth control.
Can you chip in $5 to beat him in November?
Justice Devine of the TX Sup Ct continues to make a mockery of the Judicial Code of Conduct. He has been sanctioned by the Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct in the past but that does not seem to slow him down. He is a zealot who is unfit to serve in a judicial capacity. The
We don't have to live this way in Texas.
Let's vote out Texas Supreme Court Justices Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland in November.

Donate to help us usher these three out in November.
We care, and we vote.
And, we’ll be damned if we let TX Supreme Court Justices Jimmy, John, and Jane pull this bull in TX.
November is coming.
But, also,
@NikkiHaley
, could you have picked a worse surrogate?
Texas Supreme Court Justices Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland (
@courthouse_mom
) would absolutely rule the exact same way.
Which is why we must defeat them in November.
The Alabama Supreme Court declared that frozen embryos are children under the law, without exception. The state’s largest medical center is now pausing ‘IVF’ while it researches the potential impact of that decision.
@LauraAJarrett
reports on controversial court ruling.
Tie
@SuperBowl
score. Not to be confused with how Texas’ abortion bans have tied the hands of doctors and put Texas women’s lives at risk.
We can hold Jimmy, John, and Jane accountable for how they’ve made it more dangerous to be a woman in TX.

Good morning to everyone except Texas Supreme Court Justice John Devine, who
@HoustonPress
had the following to say about in 1994:
“...only those wanting an ayatollah on the bench and an unprotected Family Planning Clinic should knowingly consider punching [Devine's] number.”
.
@GregAbbott_TX
with lots of words--none saying that IVF would be protected in Texas.
We don't trust the “I’ll eliminate rape” guy, and we don't trust his stooges on the Texas Supreme Court, Jimmy Black and Jane Bland.
We know how they would decide this case in Texas.
“No one really knows what the potential answers are.”

Seven months until we vote GOP Texas Supreme Court Justices Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland (
@courthouse_mom
) off the bench.
Set the damn timer.
Kate Cox: What I've learned from this experience is that if you are pregnant, if you love someone that is pregnant, if you may become pregnant, you have to vote like your life depends on it.
NEW: House Republicans seek political cover behind useless IVF resolutions.
One from Rep. Nancy Mace & another from Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer express support for IVF access, but don't actually do anything.
We know the numbers.
We know how Jimmy, John, and Jane would rule in this case.
We know what we have to do—vote Jimmy, John, and Jane OUT this November.
Per
@CDCgov
, in 2021:
- 453 Fertility Clinics in the US; 43 in TX (9.4%)
- 246,087 assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures performed; 18,906 in TX (7.6%)
- 91,906 ART live-birth deliveries; 7,403 in TX (8%)
Attacking ART, including IVF, disproportionately hurts Texans.
If it's not a yes, it's a no.
Your daily reminder that Republicans--from the U.S. Congress to the Texas Supreme Court--cannot be trusted to protect IVF.
REPORTER: Do you believe discarding embryos is murder?
SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON: Look, I believe in the sanctity of every human life -- I always have -- and because of that I support IVF.
Also, the 'middle ground' ban Republicans are suggesting doesn't have exceptions for nonviable pregnancies. If it were law, Kate Cox wouldn't have had to leave Texas for an abortion - she would have had to leave the country.
Jimmy, John, and Jane see no problem with extremist groups calling women who require D&C procedures after a miscarriage “murderers.”
See their opinion in the Lilith Fund case, which Jane wrote.
Can you chip in $5 to defeat these nutjobs in November?
