To be a woman in Texas: She was falsely charged with murder over a self-induced abortion. Hospital staff violated her privacy rights and reported her to local prosecutors who wrongfully prosecuted her. She’s suing for $1M in damages.

Also, the 'middle ground' ban Republicans are suggesting doesn't have exceptions for nonviable pregnancies. If it were law, Kate Cox wouldn't have had to leave Texas for an abortion - she would have had to leave the country.
