I really underestimated how impactful Caleb was to this Memphis team until his injury. I miss his athleticism, defensive skills, and his will to get to the basket and score. The team never adjusted fully after he went down. It’s amazing how one player can make or break ur season.

Memphis lost 2 starters. After Caleb’s injury, the team couldn’t regroup. Caleb (scorer) was good defensively and offensively. Then Malcolm’s situation added fuel to the fire. Both players made a HUGE difference. This is NOT all on Penny. Hopefully, we stay healthy next season

@DukeMBB I am not a Clemson or Duke fan. I feel horrible for Clemson. To play extremely hard the whole entire game just to have the Refs to blatantly steal the game takes the integrity out of college basketball. It’s sad. The calls were clearly in Dukes favor.

Arkansas was exhausted due to a double OT victory against Stanford less than 24 hours ago! The coaching staff and players executed great!! Expectations are high for this team!

@BleacherReport The thing that bothers me the most about the Mikey Williams situation is this kid is making a lot of smart moves to promote his name. He has a shoe deal, millions on followers, and the potential to be a really good player in the NBA. These kids now a days need close monitoring.

Just to put Memphis disappointing season in perspective, losing Caleb and Malcolm (starters) hurt the Tigers. Fans were outraged when Kansas lost by 30 at HOME to Cincinnati. Bill Self explained it best when they lost 2 starters (Hunter Dickinson and Kevin McCullar Jr.)
