Bristol City v Sheffield United. From the point play resumed following Martin sub (79:41) to the game end (99:36), total playing time 19:55, the ball was in play 8:11 (some if that in keeper’s hands). McAtee injury was 3:08 yet only 1:36 added to the 8 mins injury time.

Over the past few years I’ve watched England less & less, same with the Prem Lg. Was a time when I’d religiously watch (& analyse) England games, but don’t anymore. Try to consume as much EFL as poss, but top flight & international no longer has the appeal it did. Anyone else?

#BristolCity if Joe Williams wants to stay, surely we must re-contract him. Has had a strong season, is a top-half Champ performer, is the only player we have if his type. In effect a free transfer and as such should be in a “sweet-spot” (Gould term) wage-wise. Don’t let him go!

@bristolcitylive Spot on from Nige. Think JL was in “deflection” mode yesterday. He’s never gonna admit the failings of the previous years and the strategy behind it which you don’t need to be an accountant to realise had big flaws. Covid just exposed them quicker.

@BristolCity @NigelGPearson …they will benefit greatly from the experience. As fans we need to stick with Nige and play the long game. We’ve had to go backwards in the summer in terms of the squad to start laying the foundations for the next 2-3 years. Maybe I’m blinkered, but I don’t get the…(2)
