Thank you to those who alerted us about three loose horses on Portsdown Hill earlier today. We galloped on up there and told them to stop horsing around before they were returned to their owner. On arrival we asked them why the long faces? The situation is now stable.

Yesterday, while we were placing a person in the cell in the back of our police van, they complained that the cell was too small.
Cells aren't designed for comfort or style.
Top tip to avoid being put in the cell of our van it to not commit crime.
Although it is a lovely day today, we are happy to see many are still staying home and not driving to beauty spots. We know it is hard but we will get through this! Thank you for staying at home

Just to reassure anyone in the town centre if they saw police running around near the bus station at 3.30 PM. A Male was wanted on warrant, he was caught having tried to make good his escape. Contrary to popular belief we are about and have some fast cops.
Officers from our Response and Patrol Team have been in a flap this morning trying to catch an Emu that was loose on Wickham Road.
Unfortunately we were unable to locate the owner, so if it belongs to you, can you let us know on 101 quoting: INC-20210204-0463.

You may have seen some of our Officers on their phones more than usual over the past few weeks.
