1/2 All choir videos showing Nicolas King have been removed from JW website. A now well known NY cabaret performer, he appeared in a number of videos. He is been openly gay in the last few years on social media. They had to remove 10 videos to scrub his existence from the choir.

The NZ ruling is gold as a legal precedent. Watchtower’s attempt to provide policies that supposedly forbid an elder meeting a child alone or statements that ‘parents alone have sole responsibility to children’ are simply squashed by the Justice with attached as an example. 1/2

Listening to #JWvsNorway case I thought of the amount of times we are told to obey the GB who teach us through Watchtower literature, as per one eg. It’s NEVER a personal interpretation: in fact we are told we need the GB to interpret scripture and cannot do so ourselves.

Retuning to halls is going to be a shock budget wise for poor JWs. Since Covid fuel has doubled in price and many are travelling twice the distance with hall closures. Some will frankly not be able to afford to do regularly.

It’s as if Watchtower resents someone moving on. JWs are told you leave and end up in the gutter drugged and desperate. To move on is a victory in dealing with the abuse not that it never existed.
