Gross at right back ahead of Veltman. That means Mac Allister has to start, but he will most likely partner Caicedo in that deeper role. Two strikers out injured and RDZ starts a kid, who’s not even an out-and-out striker, ahead of Undav. Think that says it all.

Celebration police out in full force tonight. A ridiculous amount of injuries. Concede after 3 mins. Then Fati and Lamptey pulled up. Then Dunk got sent off with 25 to go. Of course we’re going to celebrate. I don’t think I’ve ever seen scenes like that at full time. COME ONN!!

Potter got it right today. Tactically very interesting too. Welbeck and Maupay drifting wide in possession, creating space for Trossard centrally. Groß and Moder almost playing as inverted wing backs, and I thought they were both excellent! Potterball in full flow 👏🏼

A crazy experience from start to finish. 3am start, missed KO due to chaotic policing, 2-0 down after 20 mins. But it all worked out well in the end (just about!) Poor again. Takes some character to fight back though, especially in that atmosphere. We’ll take a point and run!

Lovely way to start the season. Comfortable win, should’ve scored 7. Luton were pretty bad but they’ll have easier games than that. Mitoma + Estupinan + Pedro link up down the left is going to be lethal 😮‍💨
