The Governor has called for vouchers for all. With over 1 million students already in homeschool & private schools, it could cost up to $8 billion yearly. 90% of students are in public school, & they deserve full funding before diverting taxpayer $$$ for private school subsidies.

Public schools are in jeopardy. Funding for inflation is being held hostage to pass vouchers. Schools can't pay bills and provide cost of living adjustments without this funding. Funding schools shouldn't be tied to vouchers. Contact key lawmakers now:

Districts have been woefully underfunded as a result of record inflation & need more than $14 billion in NEW money to match the buying power we had in 2019. Now, the TX Lege is in their 4TH session, & don't have a bill that returns us to 2019 funding levels. Enough is enough!
