@FYPFanzine
You don't get it pal. We've been there 27 times with a 28th coming up. For you, it was a once every ten years day. For us, it's another home game 👍
Say Osimhen wanted 100k pw more. That's 20m over four years. Or basically, one Mike Penders. And that is *exactly* why you're p*ssing everyone off
@ChelseaFC
@paulwinstanley9
Been thinking through why traditional matchgoing fans feel so alienated. Withdrawing subsidised coaches, Westview, ticket prices, VWR, home shirt designs for 12YOs, homegrown players treated dreadfully, traditional stadium songs binned, directors interacting with socialmedia fans
@garryhayes
Fair play. But was always a terrible move for everyone. They literally brought him in because he'd played next to Kante at Leicester - to replace a dominant DM in Matic who they should never ever have let go. Conte was never interested.
@branwenjeffreys
Have considered a lot after 13 yrs. MATs are dumbing down the profession. Trying to standardise everything down to marking and lesson planning - all in the name of driving out expensive staff and replacing with trainees who won't challenge. Only concern is OFSTED - not children
A serious club does not sign Lavia or Kone over Declan Rice. Even comparing them with him is absolutely ridiculous. The guy is the best young midfielder in the world and pairing him with Enzo is the biggest squad planning no brainer you'll ever see.
@falsewinger
@1JamesCHELSEA
@WeAre_TheShed
it's time for a banner on this. We're all paying fans and we're being wronged by the PGMOL and the FA now. I don't pay extortionate amounts to see manipulated results.
@OnlyPoles_Hoses
@CFCFeIix
@evilbluebird
@siphillipssport
Hes falling out with them because they've been shite mate. Even likes of Klopp and Pep would fall out with players earning what they earn being as bad as they have. Pulisic has been woeful in particular.
@talkSPORT
Sourness revisionism. Under Granovskaia and Buck Chelsea had bought and sold HORRIBLY. Kepa, Rahman, Djilibodji, Kenedy, Batshuayi, Cuadrado, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Emerson, Pulisic. £00s of millions wasted
@James1940
@Parents_Utd
Too many idiots read the likes of Allison Pearson, Toby Young and Andrew Adonis think teachers are the bad guys - teachers MORE THAN pulled their weight and kept broad shoulders through this. It's time Williamson quit
If you could name things new owners at a club could do to alienate fans, turning up and within a year intentionally pushing out one of the clubs prized academy assets (so you can force a loan player only Twitter hipsters rate on the team) would be top of that list
Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of Mount and in an ideal world would prefer him to sign a new contract. Having spent £600m on new players in the previous two transfer windows the club have not prioritised a new deal for Mount. [
@SamiMokbel81_DM

If we're that desperate to offload Broja, Chalobah, Gallagher and Lukaku in the next two weeks for PSR after already selling Hall and Hutchinson, what happens next Summer when we don't have 5-6 players to sell?
@Dannythefink
the club needs to be open with fans - it's looking dire
So just so I understand - Clearlake persisted with Poch when 80% of the fanbase wanted him gone because they want sustainability. Only to let him walk because they refuse to let him have ANY say in ins and outs this Summer. Make it make sense. These people are appalling.
@appyclappyclare
@DerbysPolice
Exactly this. This police post is utterly illogical and is a waste of taxpayer money. Driving to a remote spot to distance from others should be encouraged not vilified using spy technology
@1JamesCHELSEA
@martynziegler
@FA_PGMOL
*MUST say something. They owe Chelsea fans an explanation, an apology to Tuchel and more importantly, owe the club assurances they're reflecting on their standards
Every single decision, brief and comment made by Eghbali, the SDs and their coaches is misplaced and riles people up more. They just can't seem to gauge fan feeling, shut up, stop overcomplicating everything out of ego, manage the club sensibly and focus on results.
@HappyHarryMedia
Wow. If she thinks this behaviour is genuinely going to bring about change she's not quite as intelligent as she seems to think she is. Fact - it won't.
@SimonClarkeMP
Lol. Another Tory not getting it. The few voters you have left might care about immigration and lower taxes. The rest of us want to be able to get through A&E in less than 7hrs, have our children taught in warm schools by good teachers and not be ripped off by energy companies.
@MarinaPurkiss
One side actively wants war with the other. The other is offering a timely reminder that if they're attacked they will retaliate. If Hamas and Hezbollah stop inciting conflict there will be no conflict
@pag1970
@SamWallaceTel
Define 'they'? Did the fans choose the owner? Anyone currently at the club? He passed a fit and proper test, the test supposed to define eligibility. Were fans to stop supporting their club? This kind of opinion is so naive and frankly, ignorant
At what point do
@clearlake
,
@Loz_Stew
and Winstanley realise they're dealing with humans, each with their own relationships, lives, loyalties and friendships? If you persistently treat humans like commodities, eventually your model will collapse.
@TheSecretScout_
A team with a slow defence, a DM that can be bullied far too easily, too many players who lose composure in tough moments of a game and an 11 that simply doesn't have enough physicality
Pivotal moments for the new owners and directors at Chelsea. Draw a line under the season, accept signings that didn't work, cut losses and show desire to integrate likes of Maatsen and Colwill and they have fans excited again. Sell a load of academy boys and toxicity increases
@corkin_neil
@NASUWT
If teachers do not strike your children will likely be in much bigger classes with more students and being taught by a non subject expert. Is this the education you want for them?
Struggling to see what the Gov are achieving with Chelsea now. With sponsors pulling out left, right and centre a £3bn UK organisation will go bust. And for what? What will this achieve other than a gigantic loss of jobs and huge hit to an already hit economy?
@CFCRobL
Right but he's been making these kinds of decisions all season. I've been saying forever that he is a fundamentally bad player for this profile of squad because he's selfish and sets a terrible example. He also won't sacrifice goals for others.
@siphillipssport
Wheres the protection Nadine? These sanctions will ensure the the club is prevented from being competitive in the sport. They will stop fans being able to go see the team. Or purchase merchandise for their children. This isn't protection.
@MaryBoustedNEU
If not fully funded, you have a duty as a union to recommend its rejected Mary. People will lose their jobs so others can be paid more - that was NOT the objective of these strikes
@siphillipssport
@MattHughesDM
It seems apparent that Boehly realised we were in for another 'Marina' window if she stayed. Sales dragging on, deadwood staying, refusal to deal for first choice targets
@UnofficialOA
The Tories only want us to have a bare minimum public sector. A country for the wealthy, where they have excellent private healthcare, private education and secure homes while the rest of us argue about tiny numbers of immigrants, benefit fraud and our national identity.
Sorry but £68m is a v v good deal if true. Said last night, don't judge on one game. 42 goals in 73 Serie games last three seasons and Chelsea actually badly need a stat peddler.
@SkySportsNews
Hes right.
@PGMOL
and the likes of
@henrywinter
and
@IanDarke
can gain favour sticking up for the officials but fans, coaches and clubs are seeing results manipulated by dreadful referees, who the game simply should not be about. Its time our Media started calling it out
@Johnholroyd14
@spurs_upnorth
@Matt_Law_DT
So, you've basically decided on your own metric to determine which club spends more. Cool. Well I'll throw in the 1bn Spurs spent on their stadium and ask whether it's made your team win trophies. No? Cool.
@matthewsyed
Can you explain why the privatisation of Russian commodities is different from the privatisation of British commodities Matthew? Is RA the only entrepeneur who has taken advantage of weak/corrupt/stuck politicians?
When the club is routinely buying 18 year olds for £20m, its appalling optics to say you won't break a wage cap for top players like Olise or Osimhen. It's beyond obv they simply don't care about competing and no number of toxic positivity client YouTubers will fool us
At what point does the club bin the 'project' line and recognise they dont have and wont be given more 'time'. You've come 12th and 6th. Youve sacked three coaches. Youre buying nobodies to replace loved academy players. Time? Don't make me laugh. Time is earned
@paulwinstanley9
@LowerNorth1967
@macswiftt
Yours not much better yesterday. Entire half of away end shouting abuse at women and children. Pushing and abusing anyone in a Chelsea shirt they walked past. Young lad swung a punch at a fella who walked past with his girlfriend for literally no reason.
@siphillipssport
Of course he is. It's history repeating itself. Managers want to work with their squad for the upcoming season, instead we have Poch working with half a youth team. It's not good enough and these directors are letting him and the club down
You wouldn't believe there was a future Eng captain who's absolutely perfect for the 6 we need, who's young, proven over a number of years, provides leadership and is actually available this Summer.
@ProfKarolSikora
What about his teachers? So much of the coverage is about how few children suffer serious illness but their teachers will. And the Tories are refusing to advise face masks in schools or arrange public transport for students.
Chelsea adamant they don’t want a yes man, but a coach to work with them, taking advice on board from data, recruitment, medical. Feeling was Poch didn’t agree with it. Chelsea also looked beyond late surge for Europe. Too much chaotic football
#cfc
@PoliticsPollss
How on Earth can people be voting yes here. It boggles the mind. 1500+ dying per day, hospital numbers barely falling. It's as if people are happy for others mums, dads, siblings and children to die.
@Bassman_93
These persistent briefs to try make the transfer policy look cohesive and planned are so tiresome. Next up will be "Maresca always felt Nkunku was a good option at 9, which is why the club were reluctant to spend on Osimhen"
Imagine Al Ahli take both Toney and Osimhen. Only Chelsea could wait three years to replace Lukaku only to have both their targets taken by the Saudis on the last day of the window
@SJohnsonSport
Fans generally don't like to see players being treated differently from one another when it comes to chances to play games. Im a big fan of Mount, but some of his performances haven't merited starting the next game and yet he does - while Hudson Odoi is routinely dropped
If Chelsea spend huge sums on Felix who's proved himself to be a trick pony, then we see claims Rice wasn't attainable due to high fee, would be absolutely ridiculous.
Moyes on Declan Rice future: “My hope is that Dec thinks West Ham is the best place for him to be — and if somebody doesn’t come up with the right amount of money, it will continue to be the place he is as well”. 🏴
#WHUFC
“The club have made that pretty plain”.
@miss_mcinerney
Teachers are simply not left to do their jobs. Senior leaders have lost touch with how to actually create good schools, so they conform to the culture of harassment, paperwork, hyper scrutiny and micro management. All in the name of OFSTED framework boxticking
@BethRigby
How is this allowed? How can the countries leader be able to make decisions that will cost lives and not have to explain them fully with data? Living in a dictatorship
@TelegraphSport
@Matt_Law_DT
Hes right. And it's time you all in the media said it too. Pressure needs to be put on the Premier League and PGMOL to put a stop yo this now. Disgrace
@RogersHistory
Or student accountability. Whilst a degree of understanding that students are still maturing is fair, if a student makes a conscious decision not to care this should not he held against staff or schools.
"They're separate budgets!". It's like me spending a grand on doing up my downstairs toilet when I currently have no kitchen - then arguing it's because I have a separate toilet budget.
@Peston
@bankofengland
Stop excusing them. They could fund everything they want to with windfall taxes, capital gains taxation, private education and health taxes and a more nuanced tax banding system. They *choose* not to.
@MissRegardless
Sorry but I hugely disagree. Many other public servants accept a degree of risk when they embark on their careers. Sorry but danger is not something I signed up for when I trained. Teachers must stand together and demand risk is negated as much as humanly poss before a return
Another thing, credit where its due
@todd_boehly
. Sorting the pre game music and video and bringing back , Blue Day, Parklife, London Calling and the new video package with past trophy wins felt like having our identity back. Loved it today
@MaryWBousted
@GillianKeegan
I'll never understand how it's not in the very least punishable that an MP can go on national TV and lie to the electorate.
@siphillipssport
Its the arrogance I find noteworthy. In plenty other countries the CWC is seen as prestigious - look how many fans travelled from Brazil. But because its not the PL and Chelsea won it this time, its tinpot.
At least this whole saga is giving away which Journos are briefed by which side of the ownership. Jacobs always pro Winstewart and Eghbali. Why don't they accept we want them to take their plan and f*ck off
Chelsea's owners open to buying each other out.
- Clearlake wish to increase their 61.5% stake
- Boehly willing to pay over £2.5bn and wants more control
- Strategic disagreements, including over stadium
- Matching and blocking rights for both parties
@maxseddon
I still can't get my head around how there are so many young men and woman willing to inflict such misery and pain on the Ukranian people. Where is their humanity?
@Mrbaiti
The Tories know all of this. They don't care. They're succeeding in their plan to create profiteering opportunities for themselves and their pals out of everyone else's misery
Some v smart people will be in for a real shock come September if/when Chelseas season starts badly. Boehly and his directors have misread how much patience match going fans have left for them - failure this window and the Bridge will be toxic next season.
