@Arsenal
manager Mikel Arteta is calling for his side to be more ruthless as they make a charge for the
#UEL
Quarter-Finals.
🤔 How far can
@Arsenal
go in the
#UEL
this season?
Interesting from Arteta. He says his biggest regrets as a manager are not having the courage to change 'keeper during two matches recently to change the momentum of games. Asks why it can't be done. Seems as though we may see plenty of chopping and changing in the GK dept.
@vanbatmannana
We know what your fans are like already mate. Elneny plays instead and you guys call him El Sideways. If Partey plays a full 90 and gets injured you guys blame Arteta. Ceballos plays and makes mistakes that no one expected and Arteta still gets the blame. He can't win lmao.
@CFCTotal
Ngl this is facts. The difference between the two is if Greenwood has a bad game he's invisible, if Martinelli has a bad game he'll still offer high intensity, press for 90 minutes, defensive contributions etc.
That's what separates the two imo.
@markgoldbridge
You're really gonna discredit going a season unbeaten. If it was so easy why haven't any other teams done it? Have to give them the credit they deserve if you actually watched them.
The only top-10 team we've beaten away is Fulham. Our fans set themselves up for disappointment with the false sense of being as good as City and Arsenal. We're closer to a top 4 battle than a title race and we've been getting saved by Rashford (Leicester & Newcastle recently).
We're better than Liverpool and yesterday doesn't change that. There's a reason we've beaten every top 6 side this season and are 7 points ahead of them

I don't think that should be an excuse though. Hes a good manager who's made mistakes but also improved a lot of things which are clear to see. Your players are letting him down with individual errors weekly though.
I'm not a fan of this. if you think we were good enough to beat Arsenal in that match you're deluded. If we think these standards are acceptable Brighton will smash us on the weekend. Our club should be dominating these games but there's a clear trend away from home vs the top 9.
🗣️ "We deserved a lot more at Arsenal. You can see we are progressing against a good Arsenal."
Erik ten Hag felt the minimum that Manchester United deserved at Emirates was a draw

yeah I watched a pen not get awarded vs man utd, I saw jorginho gift you a goal. I saw Liverpool give you a hard time with 10 men and a wrongly disallowed goal. yes I watched it.
you're winning a game. 75th min the opposition starts hoofing the ball into the box to win headers, keeper on the bench is better at winning aerial battles. why not do it? makes sense but it's something that never happens in football so people will find it weird. but it's right
Man City had four shots. That's the fewest they have managed in a Premier League game since April 2010, also against Arsenal.
City's last shot of the game came in the 58th minute

Well that's rubbish. The league's so competitive now isn't it with a 1/2 horse race every season. The quality of defenders has also dropped now. How many world class defenders in the league? 2.

True. Messi has set the bar so high for himself that the season hes had isn't good enough to win a Balon D'or now. If that was Hazard, Salah, Mane they would win it because it would be seen as an unbelievable season whilst for Messi its just seen as another good season
@markgoldbridge
He was good again on that right side. Did everything well apart from finishing today. Luckily for them they have 2 world class finishers so they can afford to miss a few chances
@YorozuyaBebop
Saved by the ref vs us, Jorginho gave them a draw, Last min winner vs Sheffield Utd, Last min winner vs Liverpool with 9 men. I'm not buying the hype yet
Reiss Nelson for Hoffenheim:
Minutes - 643
Goals - 7
Goal every 91 minutes
Pulisic' best season for Dortmund:
Minutes: 2,304
Goals: 5
Goal every 576 minutes
When I watch Cedric I never think Arsenal are missing Bellerin. So much more confident on the ball, better decision making, always looks for a forward pass, better passing range, better defensively.

@markgoldbridge
Ahh that's why teams like West ham and Charlton back then could sign quality players like Paolo Di Canio, Leeds signed Cantona from Nimes, Middlesborough signed Juninho. Make it make sense.
Invincibles. The aim of the game is to win. If you don't win, the next best thing is to not lose. Going a whole season without having a team being able to say they beat you is more impressive than conceding the least amount of goals. A team still managed to get the better of you.

He had from the half way line up until the goal to think about what he's going to do. If you've played football you'll know its hard. Its not as simple as running and scoring with psychology involved.
@UtdMxtt
@Fotbollwille
Spurs have been in Europa and mid table for 90% of their existence so of course being in CL and winning nothing would be a success for them. Small club mentality.
@Joshcarr0
Hes improved so many things already. First was your defence and it was one of the best itl at one point this season. Then he added the no10 and we saw how he actually wanted to play. You started looking more balanced balanced fluid. A lot of the points dropped were errors like
@Iewdawg
@WestHam_Central
He's not better than Rice and 115m for like 50 career league appearances is just ridiculous. you'd say the same if he didn't join Chelsea.
Spurs didnt deserve to beat us. They got gifted when a Romero pen for handball wasn't given. They didn't deserve to beat Liverpool today too. The ref saved them again. That's 4 points MINIMUM. Take away 4pt and they sit in 7th place. They are not title contenders. They are lucky.
