A big 👍 coming from Catherine Pendergast, who graduated from the Lineworker Certificate Program at @capitalcc_ct . Becoming a lineworker wasn’t part of her career plan; but after learning more about program, getting accepted, & taking on the class work, she knew it was for her.

With the ground saturated and tree branches weakened from last week’s storm, the powerful winds arriving tonight are expected to cause damage. We’re pre-positioning crews to respond, including additional contract crews. Keep our contacts handy—we’re there when you need us!

Crews made repairs on Great Neck Road in Waterford after a tree hit the lines. We’re seeing a lot of similar tree-caused damage to our equipment on the eastern side of the state from #Henri . We’re working as quickly and safely as possible to restore our customers.

Ana Grace’s family and the community didn’t want Ana to be remembered by how she died, but rather by how she lived, so they gather every year to celebrate her with dancing, music, food, and performances. Together with the @anagraceproject we're in good company.

While Travis was working through his gym routine, Phil Santos, a loving husband and father of two, experienced a cardiac event. Travis rushed to his aid, using his training as a registered nurse to stabilize Phil until paramedics arrived. They've been close friends since. (2/2)
