Shout out to Everett High School - These amazing young people worked hard to make a positive change in the community and provided groceries to 200 families this holiday season!
Some of Everett's traffic cameras spotted our Public Works crews in action this morning, continuing to work hard to clear the roads from the most recent round of snow!
Night crews continued clearing and sanding major arterials, secondary streets and hills, also working into residential areas - another 321 miles plowed and 228 cubic yards of salt/sand! Crews will continue clearing as much ice from the roads as possible before the next snow.
Shout out to our Public Works and MVD teams who work around the clock to keep Everett moving ๐๐๐ Since Sunday morning, they've plowed more than 1,250 miles and have applied more than 500 cubic yards of sand/salt. The sun has helped a bit today, but it is still COLD ๐ฅถ
A friendly reminder from our Public Works team: if youโre using wipes to sanitize around your home, please put them in the trash, NOT in the toilet. Even wipes marketed as โflushableโ cause clogs and big problems.
