A lot of peple were asking me what Sam Morales’ diagnosis is. Psychologists are not supposed to diagnose someone whom we have not examined. That’s unethical. We can not base our diagnosis solely on Jzan’s narrative.

I think having a rehab/clinical psychologist as part of the medical team handling COVID-19 cases would also make a difference on the lives of the patients. The stress and all negative emotions associated with it may be lessened thru psych interventions.

HPA axis is very active in people w/ depression. In turn, may impair the hippocampus. This is the main probable reason why the hippocampus is significantly smaller in these individuals. This mechanism had been the most extensively investigated abnormality associated with MDEs.

Erikson’s 8 stages of life has to be revisited. I mean the stage I am now and other people of my age are not just dealing with intimacy issues. You have to deal with a lot such as career, your parents getting old, fewer friends, health issues, stable income and so on.
