I'm amazed at the range of intelligence in our species. On 1 end you have ppl exploring galaxies & quantum physics. On the other you have flat Earthers. Other species don't have this. You won't see 1 wolf doing long division while another refuses to believe that trees are real.

Hey everyone, I was discharged today and I'm on route, headed home. Had to get some pretty hardcore brain surgery, but I emerged unscathed (other than some icky scars). I can't really walk under my own power yet and I'm still in a lot of pain, but I'll soon be at 100%.

Danielle and I just got out of the hospital after my exploratory brain surgery thingy. This is the follow up to the brain surgery I had to remove a Dural Fistula, 4 months ago. I am officially 100% cured! No evidence of the Fistula regrowing! We're celebrating with poutine!

We've had Ember for 15 years. Today we took her to the vet. She can no longer walk w/o help & has no control over her poops/pees. She doesn't seem to recognize us anymore. The vet recommended we put her down. We cried as she died in our arms. Goodbye Ember. We love you.

I spent the day, talking things through with Danielle. Planning the details of the divorce. We laughed together. We cried and hugged a lot. At times, we were sobbing uncontrollably. I know I could have been a better partner. We kept apologizing to each other through tears.

Today I helped run an LGBT+ youth group. My job was to "Be like a helpful Mom and manage the drawing table". Some kids were drawing elves, fairies etc and I literally got this question... "Excuse me, do you know how to draw a goblin? Like, how do I draw their ears?"

Posting this for the Goblins readers. I've gotten my first and only tattoo, recently. Dogwood blossoms in an art nouveau style. They cover my left arm, shoulder, breast, and hand. In about a month, I go back to get it coloured and shaded.
