Absolutely LOST it last night listening to
#TheNewsreader
official podcast and they started reading an excerpt from my Helen centric fic, to the SHOW WRITER?? Michael Lucas was so gracious about it too, I will never recover from this 😭😭😭
"She’d been a whirlwind in his neatly structured life, a burst of colours in a rather bleak landscape; the best friend he never knew he was always meant to have, until he was pouring his heart out to her, and she just held him tighter."
Listening to Michael Lucas talking about the fact that the Newsreader fandom is a niche, and how even the main cast's fandoms are niches too, and how it's the best because he knows how a small group of passionate, dedicated fans makes all the difference
I think there should be an Emmy category for “outstanding performance by an actress playing the love interest of a man she truly, truly hated working with”
I think what's rubbing me the wrong way about saying Anna is being nominated "retroactively" for Fringe is the 'guest actress' category. I know it's semantics but Anna Torv OWNED the whole damn show for 5 years and I just 😭
characters who have, for so long, believed they’re unworthy of love and resigned themselves to a life of loneliness then meeting their person who will weather through the storm and unburden them …….. nothing like it
Turned my bluray on to watch 3x15, so of COURSE i had to rewatch the ending of 6B first and omgggg I forgot they used a little heart for the last glyph 😭😭😭😭
Holden, a complete mess: you're such a good listener Wendy, thank you for being here
Wendy, who's stared at the hot lady behind the bar the whole time: haha sure
rewatching 2x02 of the

and ughhh the mysoginy Helen has to deal with is just sickening, especially when you KNOW what Charlie tells her is still being said to women in 2023
