It's crazy how much I see the newer generation undermine how difficult Halo tournaments were during the MLG era. Halo was THE esport back then, attendance was 4 or 5x what it is today. We played on 78 FOV, 30 FPS, in 480p, on tube TVs (actually with less input delay though) 1/?

How awesome would it be if they brought back the Halo 2 clan system for Halo Infinite? Up to 100 people in a clan with a hierarchy and shared rank for minor (4v4) and major (8v8) clan matches. Was such a cool concept back then and nowadays orgs could have official clans in-game.

Just learned that on @Splitgate 's custom map builder, creators have remade nearly every Halo CE and Halo 2 arena map (no surprise)... It got me thinking. Maybe we should do a 4v4 customs night on Splitgate and try them out. Would be a lot of fun for sure. Anyone down??

Cheating has obviously become a serious issue in Halo Infinite. But when it comes to openly accusing people of cheating in an HCS tournament, you better have undeniable evidence. Accusations can ruin someone's career, and if you accuse and are wrong, there should be consequences.

I don't understand why Sparty wouldn't just get the Router 2 treatment? One tournament DQ + a fine. Banning for the rest of the season seems extreme when the misconduct seems very similar in both cases.

I think about halfway through this year, Halo Infinite is going to be adequately patched, new maps and content will have been delivered, cheaters addressed, mangler spawn timer will be at least doubled, Bo5s will be the norm, and we will be in the true new Golden Age of Halo.

When is a game developer going to make a game with gunplay as deep as Halo 2 on purpose? An FPS with intentional button combos that you could master to outplay your opponents. Almost like an FPS/fighting game hybrid. If done right, could be pretty sick.

Can we please add the ability to click on someone's profile in game and add them as a friend? I miss how seamless the old friends lists were in Halo 2. Now I have to open other programs like Xbox or Steam and jump through hoops to add someone, and I often still can't invite them.

In a way it's kind of funny to me that everyone is complaining about the 4 stacking "problem" in Halo Infinite. This is the most teamwork oriented Halo we've ever had. Communication and timing are paramount. The skill gap is in making friends and doing your best to work together.
