Work continues this morning, from throughout the night to bring back power and address many problem areas. The storm damage is extensive. More teams are arriving to assist with restoration efforts but it will take time. We are working as quickly and safely as possible.

Our crews made good progress overnight, restoring power to 9,500 customers. Approximately 11,500 customers remain without power. We continue to work hard to bring power pack and ensure public safety working with emergency services and our municipalities.
Today’s storm has caused extensive damage to our distribution system. Our crews, system operators and arborists are working hard to restore power as quickly and as safe as possible. Progress has been slow but they are doing everything they can to restore power quickly.

Crews will continue to restore power throughout the night. It’s a complex process with downed lines, poles and trees. Safety, emergency and critical infrastructure remain our top priority as well as large scale outages, followed by smaller ones.
