The Pegasus is a lesser-known spacecraft from the Apollo program. Launched three times on Saturn I rockets, the Pegasus investigated the micrometeoroid environment, providing data that would help mission planners protect the Apollo capsules during their flight.

VTV Venture soars over Venus after its four-month journey. Had NASA flown the manned Venus mission, the ship would be traveling so fast at this point that the astronauts would only have a few hours above Venus before they swung back around the planet and headed home.

Project Mercury advanced missions: 1) MORAD, a concept to practice rendezvous and docking procedures with a Scout upper stage. 2) My interpretation of a concept I found for a Mercury work pod. 3) MORAD recolored.

USAF-230, an up-gunned Brilliant Pebble based on the X-wing. The satellite has four interceptors, as opposed to the standard Pebble with one. They would be used to intercept ICBMs and other targets. The satellite core includes more tracking equipment than the standard Pebble.

Phase A of the un-flown AAP manned Venus mission would have been a test run of the ship in Earth orbit using a standard Block II CSM. The transfer vehicle was based on the S-IVB. Here, the VTV (Venus Transfer Vehicle) Armstrong waits for the sun to rise on the Adonis I mission.

The Priyut rescue vessel, a spacecraft that provides a safe haven for stranded astronauts and cosmonauts while ground control figures out how to get them home. The two rings of lights illuminate the docking port to help determine orientation in dark conditions.

The Priyut is automated, but I gave it a lighting pattern to easily distinguish the orientation of the ship even in darkness, just in case manual docking is necessary. I'll post another picture later this week showing the docking port and its lighting arrangement.

The Soyuz 7K-VI was an unbuilt Soviet project to militarize the Soyuz spacecraft by adding a cannon, recon equipment, and nuclear generators. Here, I've rendered my model of the design conducting a test firing.

One of the scientific devices on Mercury mission MA-7 (Scott Carpenter flying) was a balloon deployed from the front of the capsule. The balloon was intended to measure atmospheric drag and test the visibility of different paints. Unfortunately, the balloon didn't inflate.

Armstrong: We're about to open our hatch now. Collins: There's that same guy that, when you open up the door, why, he's waiting there for you, and he turns the lights on. Duke: How about that. Just like the refrigerator. Unidentified crewmember: [garble]-VEZAAAA CRISTAAAALL!
