This week, to honour Bobby Best's memory, TFTES will be airing a 45 minute never heard before interview that was filmed by
@RoversDoc
a couple of years ago. Bobby turned up on set in a yellow jersey that Rovers wore only once in 2000. So in this clip, we asked him about it...
We just want to wish
@DundalkFC
absolutely no luck tonight and hope they get f*****g hammered.

LOI fans that actually follow their team, understand rivalry and realise that it's ok to hate the opposition.
The 25th FAI Cup edition of TFTES couldn't be contained to just one episode! Tomorrow morning hear from some of the heroes of the final. Then next week we'll go more in depth on the game and the days that followed. Hopefully a special live audience show later this month too 🏆☘
September:
4th win in a row over Bohs for the first time since 1990.
Biggest ever win over Cork City at Turners Cross.
Biggest win over Waterford since 1963.
Biggest win at Oriel Park since 1968.
A sad day at TFTES headquarters as we had to say goodbye to a podcast ever-present. If you've ever heard Gar mention Prof's cat or heard a meow in the background, that was Lacy, for 8 years. More like a dog at times, so sweet natured, with the mightiest whiskers. We'll miss her x
Gary P wasn't born the last time Rovers had won the Cup. The Prof was only 2. The world wide web hadn't been invented yet never mind podcasts. What a day. What a club 🏆☘
Has Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu ever been on a podcast? Just the one, as far as we know, a little show called Tales From The East Stand in July of last year. TFTES 127 to be exact. Well done on your debut Gav. Once a Hoops Always a Hoop ☘️
Prank call will be on FM 104 between 9 and 9.15.
Ringing in sick, bag of cans, gonna sit in me jox and listen to recordings of it for 8 hours.
Fame has humbled me
Prof: We have a song about Aaron McEneff scoring belters all the time, and his goals so far have been two penalties and an open goal tap in from 3 yards out

The goals were scored by a player who scored his first senior goal for Shamrock Rovers (September 2006) and a player who scored his first senior goal against Shamrock Rovers (December 2011)
For several weeks now we've been interviewing Rovers fans on the podcast and putting up polls on Facebook to get the TFTES Shamrock Rovers All-Time XI. Here's the results.
We are delighted to announce the return of the community initiative bringing residents from Towers Direct Provision centre in Clondalkin as our guests

New podcast out tomorrow morning! Hard to believe it's been 5 years for TFTES already. And to celebrate the anniversary we have this fella on to entertain yis
@kennybpb
Absolutely nothing to do with the FAI. From a Rovers perspective, it's all down to a collective of people, officially and unofficially working together to grow the club in every way.
FAI deserve zero credit
This is the most painful cancellation I have had yet. From someone I spent 10 years working with, many lovely family dinners and lots of laughs. Someone I thought was a friend.
Our thanks to the big crowd that came to our live show on Saturday at the
@civictheatre
We had a blast. From Gary P, Prof, Harry, Hannah, John, Greener, Aussie Nate, Gar B, Deco, Brian, Philly and Miya
@picolopes
is a fucking savage.
No fear
He's like the bloke at the party who you can always convince to do insane shit and they never get hurt.
"Here Pico, jump out the window there pal"
"Hold my drink"
Not a scratch on him
Podcast schedule:

@LOICentralPod
Instead of the usual grumbles of "poor league this year", can we appreciate the league for what it is, high standard , free flowing football with sold out signs going up across the country. Time to put pressure on government officials for structured funding.
Prof on Aug 29: Watch all the reactions from other fans be about how Rovers'celebrations were over the top (possibly the saddest take in football)
Aug 30:
The big interview has been secured...it's former Rovers player and Maltese International Luke Dimech! Send us any questions you have for Luke and we'll ask him on the podcast ☘🇲🇹
True to their history,
@bfcdublin
and
@dlLambo
avoid any pressing questions or enquiries about the club and block an independent podcast for merely pointing out a couple of discrepancies.
Your going to need a bigger carpet eventually
