Quite worrying that such awful advice is being given out on TV by a registered dietitian. No wonder people are confused.
This is a really poor understanding of insulin & fat loss in general
This one 15 min workout will make no difference.
Being the kind of person who does a 15min workout instead of nothing.
That compounds to some impressive results. 🎯
You can expect to gain 2 hours of life for every 1 hour of exercise so if you are telling yourself you don’t have time for exercise.. YOU DO!
Exercise is quite literally giving you more time.
Does anyone else get absolutely no inspiration from the in shape personal trainer who trains twice a day, gets all their meals prepped & delivered, sleeps 8h a night & has absolutely no distractions?
As January approaches and people make an effort to improve their health may all of us in the fitness industry remember this important message:
Don’t be a patronising arsehole.
Social norm:
Finding a romantic partner and feeling you need to share every experience with them
Underrated:
Single life & adventures with your best friend
You don’t build muscle by lifting weights.
You create the stimulus.
Then you adapt to that stimulus with rest & fuel (nutrition)
You do your growing outside your sessions.
Cases are rising again so something has to change...
You can either have less people round your house or we have to shut a load of businesses again having a huge impact on people’s jobs & the economy.. I know which makes more sense to me.
The benefits of exercise go far beyond fat loss and you should be exercising even if you don’t have a fat loss goal.. or any specific goal at all!
It should simply be part of your life.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but you shouldn’t be getting your health & nutrition advice from unqualified influencers.
(being on a reality TV show does not make you qualified 🤯)
