This year, the
#LISA
space mission got the go-ahead for implementation - a major milestone! We caught up with Nora Luetzgendorf (

's lead project scientist for LISA.

To detect gravitational waves,
@ESA_LISAmission
will use pairs of solid gold-platinum cubes, free-floating at the heart of each of the three spacecraft.
The mission will track tiny changes in the distances between the cubes caused by the waves 👉
