A tornado touched down in Brossard at around 8:12pm last night. The tornado uprooted trees, overturned a semi-trailer and caused damage to infrastructure.

Why don't the Great Lakes freeze over more quickly? It takes time for the lakes to cool at the surface, but it also takes time for the lakes to cool at the bottom. So a deep lake like Lake Ontario will take longer to freeze than a shallow lake like Lake Erie.
