If you haven’t heard by now our season ended last night in a 5-2 loss to Midland, MI. Over the last two years at the Great Lakes Regional we are 0-3 vs Midland and 3-1 vs everyone else. KO’d the Ohio and Indiana state champs. Finish with a 30-11 overall record.

Here is another little state tournament historical tidbit. Since the tournament format changed to 8 teams back in 1968, only two pitchers have been responsible for 2 shut-out wins in a single state tournament: Vic Richards of Wausau in 1968 and our Levi Schaller in 2018.

Tonight in Wisconsin Rapids our 19U guys over Wisconsin Rapids Post 9 7-1 to move on to championship Saturday undefeated. Tommy Perkins and Kellen Smith combined to pitch the win. We will face Milwaukee on Saturday at 4:00 needing 1 win of the 2 potential games to win it
