In about 45 hours, I managed to beat MH Rise: Sunbreak without carting. A scary run, as monsters in this game deal a ton of damage compared to other games if you don't gather enough green Spiritbirds. Primordial Malzeno was the end goal.

@Almighty_Enigma Tbh the whole debate simply comes from the fact that yeah, Dalamadur is absolutely fucking massive. Problem is it's too slow and cumbersome to deal with Fatalis' own size, and Fatalis' fire can probably melt the armor of Dalamadur and damage it, even if it is a fire monster.

@BannedDino I mainly care about combat design above visual design ; Magnamalo is one of, if not the best designed fight in 5th gen. It has an interesting and complex gas buildup mechanic, an expensive moveset, great AI, animations and movement. Its up there as one of the best in all of MH.

@profjpg It's more arcady because that's the point ; Portable titles are meant for a focus on gameplay and experimentation when it comes to monsters, environments, unique abilities for hunters, and moveset customisation. Rise looks pretty still, but immersion etc are an afterthought.

I'm a huge fan of how they're handling the weapons in this game So many additions, much larger movesets, silkbinds and switch skills directly integrated into the movesets, some cool frontier additions etc Hunting Horn looks really good too
