This affordability program was originally passed in Minnesota thanks to the fierce advocacy of @NSmithholt12 who lost her son Alec in 2017 because he couldn’t afford the insulin he needed to stay alive. She testified in Colorado for this bill too. Thank you! 💙

CO constitution specifically describes #COleg expulsion as a separate process from a criminal prosecution: "...punishment for contempt or disorderly behavior shall not bar a prosecution for the same offense." Senate R's propose expulsion should be contingent on conviction. #9NEWS
