Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels are pleased to announce former Dunshaughlin and Meath star Richie Kealy as the new Adult Men’s first team manager.
The Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels executive committee this evening unanimously ratified Richie and his management & backroom team.
All club activities including training are suspended as a mark of respect to Denis Kealy who died yesterday. All at the club are saddened and send our deepest condolences to all of Denis’s family at this sad time

Congratulations to Caoimhín King whose appearance against Nobber was his 100th senior championship game for the club. Caoimhín has been a member of the senior team since his debut v Kilmainhamwood in 2003 - we look forward to further senior championship appearances in 2021.
DCC Joint Captains Jared Rushe & John McDonagh dedicated their victory to their late teacher, coach and friend James Baugh who died in an accident July in 2020. Jimmy was smiling down today as his DCC students won their North Leinster League Final

Our Under 20 Men’s team made history tonight winning the U20 championship for the first time in very dramatic fashion.
Final Score Dunshaughlin 3-9 Ballinabrackey/Clonard to 2-11. Luke Mitchell converting a Mark deep into injury time after only a minute earlier scoring a goal.
Congratulations to Ruairi Kinsella who was named Meath Young Footballer of the Year. Ruairi has been consistently good all year and made a major contribution in Dunshaughlin’s march towards Intermediate Championship honours. Well deserved award for Ruairi Kinsella.

Sad to record the death of John (Ned) Summerville of Rath Hill. John played football with the club in the 1980s, usually as a goalkeeper, and featured on the team that reached the 1980 junior football division 2 championship semi-final v Walterstown. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.

Our Club lit up in memory of those who went to a match in Croke Park & never came home.

3 days & club loyalty ? Last year Maynooth played their College Final the same night as Dunshaughlin had their under 20 championship Final. The College final started 1 hour earlier and Kinsella won the 1st final and raced over to the 20’s final at 1/2 time to play & win that too
