Kind of feels like F1, the FIA and F1 media are willing on Max to break all the records. Didn’t get that sense sense when Lewis was doing it. I wonder what is different. 🤔
F1 and the FIA pushed so hard for Max to be champion and now he is absolutely sinking F1 while trashing their biggest project in Las Vegas. Poetic Justice.
Should Mercedes go over the budget cap this year and take a wind tunnel penalty in 2024? In order to remain under the cap, teams likely keep a multi-million dollar buffer as Red Bull claims to have done. So a minor breach could unlock millions in a key development year for Merc.
@ESPNF1
I didn’t get that sense at all with Lando. Max is just throwing bombs at Netflix because he’s still mad about how they portrayed him in season 1 going up against Ricciardo.

Mclaren had break problems. Too early to tell who has an engine-advantage. Haas and Alfa also got more time in the wind tunnel compared to the other teams.
If that RacingNews365 article is to believed, the FIA determined Red Bull submitted $5.8m worth of expenses incorrectly. Interesting that the initial RB submission was $4m under the cap. If other teams left a similar margin, the $1.8m breach could be way more of an advantage.
This year I invited these three talented drivers to Silverstone. It’s so important to pay that forward, support young talent, and work to ensure that the future of motorsport is more diverse than the present. Joshua, Myles and Cordell thank you, I'm proud of all of you.
I have never rooted more for the downfall of a team, in any sport, than I do with Red Bull. Just the worst people (minus EngineMode11 who is mid) now winning with the least amount of grace possible.
@EngineMode11
"We're already miles behind," Verstappen said after the race to F1. "I don't even want to think about the championship fight at the moment."
@Formula24hrs
You crash, your race is over, home grand prix, so many emotions, and yet George jumps out of the car and sprints to see if Zhou is ok. Lots of respect for George.
@autosport
I want to see Max truly tested. A fast teammate. A close rival. Record books will say different, but we all know he lost in 2021. Talent-wise he is very likely up there. But let’s see a real battle that he wins before putting him in that category.
@formularacers_
You just know Fernando is going to take great pride beating Esteban this weekend and will be sure to remind everyone he has the old floor.
@matthewsyed
I agree with this article completely. I was shocked there was not collective outrage from the F1 media that a team would effectively be trying to bully one of their media colleagues. These journalists so dependent on access are losing their voices. Thanks for speaking up.
@brrrake
It's not his job to help Charles get second. If there was a chance at the win, do it. But Carlos was brilliant today and provided more entertainment than we have had for most of the season.
@fiagirly
Nah these comments are too harsh. Went for an overtake on Sainz, Sainz blocked and Fernando pounced. Now driving in dirty air. Almost no overtakes in the sprint.

Wow, coming back to this after you are throwing a fit for something so much less damaging happened to you. Hope you learn a lesson.

If you actually watch the onboard that is not what happened at all Perez comes up the inside of Lewis as he is much faster because of the crash. Lewis sees him coming and veers left to avoid him.
