A crane on the Newport Beach Pier, CA. One of my fav shots. Taken 12 yrs ago.
I like the way the colors of the bird replicate the colors of the dripping & dried paint on the shed & how the light post above only has one lit bulb. It all just “works”.
I got it back! 💞💞💞💞
Was just now delivered! The same that I used at age 21👏👏. Call me crazy, but I think digital is complicated and I miss film. I even miss the smell of it.
My local town haunted & abandoned building that is bathed in beautiful shrubs, creeping ivy, and even a few rose vines. Paranormal “detectives” flock here every October for spooks. This building is reminiscent of Disneyland’s New Orleans Haunted Mansion.
I shot this ferry before boarding for Catalina Island from Newport Beach, CA. This particular morning in February was stormy.
My son and I drank hot chocolate and enjoyed every cold moment (wrapped in blankets) on the top deck.
Was a great trip to the zoo! I love these smart and amazing animals! One of them made a necklace out of twigs and tried to (unsuccessfully) toss it up to me!
The lighting here was crazy bright when this bird landed right next to me! No zoom.
So, this image was slightly difficult for me. Had to act quickly before he flew away! Decided to share.🌞
Just another friendly California Brown Pelican on the Newport Beach Pier, that may as well have been a cat perched up there by the way it was trying to interact with me! No zoom. Amazing and beautiful creatures.
