"I want to be happy" sounds a lot like "I want to eat once and for all" Consider happiness as a rolling average of behavior instead of some event that "happens" and then you "get it" As a start, view happiness through the lens of “doing stuff you like with people you like”

Your good idea, with bad communication, looks dumb. If your idea succeeds anyway, reasonable doubters may (reasonably) write it off as lucky! Get more support for your ideas by making them easier to support. Communicating them with more care gets you off to a great start.
