Day 3 of covid, symptoms started late Sunday night, even with the vaccine this is not easy. High temperature, persistent cough & intermittent shortness of breath is exhausting. I am truly grateful for the vaccine as without it I am sure I would be a lot lot worse. #GrabAJab

When I was 17yrs I left a voicemail on my parents answer machine coming out, my mother had a letter delivered the next day saying they still loved me and would see me for Sunday lunch. I am grateful for a family who have accepted me as my authentic self. #NationalComingOutDay

Case numbers in Birmingham have risen, but so has testing uptake and the percentage of positive cases is staying roughly the same. So this is not a dramatic new rise in terms of the spread, but reflects we're getting more people access to testing and finding cases appropriately.

My rule of thumb: if you are travelling into a higher tier area then the higher level restrictions apply to you while you are there. If you are travelling to a lower tier area you take your higher restrictions with you wherever you go.
